| PTWBA Closing Tournament and Prize Giving 16/09/26 |

| The PTWBA Closing Tournament and Prize Giving was held on Wednesday 16th September at
Dunluce Bowling Club and then Bushfoot Golf club. President Beverley Watton and the ladies
of Dunluce were the hosts providing refreshments on arrival at Dunluce.
It was a changeable day and 40 ladies went out to play in the afternoon's bowling.
Spectators also had to be wrapped up to enjoy the bowling.
A lovely meal was then enjoyed by all at Bushfoot.
President Beverley after making her speech, gave out the prizes to all League, Cup and
competitions winners and runners-up, and those who won the days competition.

have been selected to play in the European Champioships from 19th to 26th September at
Llandrindrod Wells, Wales.

| Megan Devlin (Ballymena), Sophie McIntyre and Zoe Stratton (Ballymoney ) have been
selected to play in the Atlantic Challenge at Belmont B C from 6th to 10th September.
Also Anne Smith (Ballymoney) who will be part of the Para team.

| PTWBA Championships |
The PTWBA Championships were played over the 4th - 6th August at Dunluce B C,
with President Beverley Watton and the ladies of Dunluce being the hosts.
There were 3 days of good bowling in some very inclement conditions, but all the finals,
except one managed to be played off. It proved to be a very busy time for some of the ladies
who were taking part in more than one competition. Thanks are given to the Dunluce ladies
for all their hospitality over this period, as they were also catering for the men's competitions
in the evening.
Thanks to the Competition Secretary for organising all the games and times, Philip Stirling for
umpiring and the men members who helped in having the green set up each day.
Best wishes to all the winners as they go on to the IWBA Finals in NICS Bowling Club from
28th - 30th August |

| Congratulations to Shauna O'Neill (Limavady) who along with Chloe Wilson, won a Bronze
medal in the Ladies Pairs competition. Shauna also did well in the Ladies Singles, just
losing one game to the eventual Silver medalist. Well done Shauna! |

| The PTWBA flag was unfurled by the President Beverley Watton, on Wednesday the 29th

| April at Dunluce Bowling Club. 9 clubs in the Association were in attendance.
The ladies from Dunluce provided refreshment on arrival.

that remained enjoyed the sunshine |
